Nourish Canada
Nourish Canada is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting education, poverty alleviation, and community development initiatives in South Africa. Working in partnership with Nourish South Africa, we help advance community-led solutions that address the root causes of poverty and wildlife crime.
Founded in 2011, Nourish South Africa operates at the intersection of community development and conservation, creating practical alternatives to poverty in rural communities living alongside protected areas. Through its Eco Village model, the organization delivers integrated programs in education, nutrition, skills training, and enterprise development. These community-run hubs provide access to learning, meals, and income-generating opportunities, helping families build sustainable livelihoods while strengthening local support for conservation.
